MPUDCL Urban Planner Vacancy 2026

Madhya Pradesh Urban Development Company Limited (MPUDCL) has invited applications for the Urban Planner post in the PPP/Asset Management Division. The position is on deputation/contract basis.

Minimum Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture/Planning from a recognised University/Institution.
• Master's Degree in Urban Planning/Urban Design/Regional Planning or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification

• Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Urban Planning/Regional Development/Urban Studies shall be an added advantage.

Minimum Experience

• 7-10 years of professional experience in urban planning, urban development or infrastructure planning, including at least 2-4 years of relevant experience in preparation and implementation of statutory and non-statutory urban plans.

Role Requirements

• Assist in preparation, review and implementation of Master Plans, Development Plans, Zonal Plans, Local Area Plans and sectoral urban plans.
• Provide planning inputs for urban infrastructure projects including roads, public transport, water supply, sewerage, drainage, solid waste management and urban renewal initiatives.
• Support land use planning, development control regulations, urban design guidelines and policy frameworks aligned with State and Central Government programmes.

Desirable Experience

• Hands-on experience in preparation or revision of City/Development/Regional Master Plans.
• Strong understanding of land use zoning, development control regulations and planning standards.
• Experience in base map preparation, surveys and spatial analysis.
• Exposure to public consultations, stakeholder meetings and statutory approvals.
• Proven work on land use analysis, suitability analysis and zoning plans.
• Experience with Smart City proposals, ABD area planning, Smart Roads or sectoral smart projects.
• Familiarity with ICT-enabled urban services, data-driven planning and dashboards.

Salary

₹79,900-2,11,700 and above for deputation; consolidated ₹1,04,200 and above for contractual engagement.
