Science and Technology Park GIS Associate Recruitment 2026

Science and Technology Park, Pune, supported by DST, Government of India, has announced GIS Associate positions for candidates with geospatial talent, skills and experience.

Position Location

Two positions at Science and Technology Park, Pune, supported by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Educational Qualification

• Master's Degree in GIS / Remote Sensing, or BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering with GIS background.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS software is mandatory.

Experience

• Fresher or candidate with 1 year of relevant experience in GIS, survey data handling, CAD operations or GIS software handling including QGIS.
• Language: English and Hindi with local language.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the projects team and work in GIS division projects for Urban Planning and Ports Land Management.
• GIS data creation, attribute data collection, QA and QC, delivery finalization.
• Integrate survey data, ensure validation, documentation and accurate GIS reporting.
• Integrate data as per National Standards as defined under PM GatiShakti Program.
• Support team on GIS projects; PAN India deployment commitment is required.
• Learn and adopt new geospatial technologies for effective project implementation.

Nature of Appointment

• Project-based appointment with immediate joining.
• Appointment does not confer any right to permanent employment at STP Pune or client side.
• Quarterly performance evaluation with reporting to STP Pune Headquarters.
• One month training at STP, Pune is mandatory.

Remuneration

Remuneration will be at par with geospatial industry standards based on candidate experience, knowledge base and performance.
