Eligibility: Graduation in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from IITs, NITs, or institutions ranked within the top 100 in the Engineering category of NIRF Rankings (for the year of graduation or preceding year). Experience: 0–2 years after essential educational qualification. Upper age limit: 30 years (as on date of issue of engagement/advertisement).
Nature of Engagement: Purely contractual, for a fixed period of 2 years, extendable by 1 year at a time up to a maximum of 3 years, subject to review by the Consultants' Review Committee. Associates hold the status of independent consultants, not NHIDCL employees.
Remuneration: ₹70,000–₹80,000 per month (consultancy fee, inclusive of all taxes), with a 20% location allowance for postings in Andaman & Nicobar Islands and an annual 5% enhancement.
Key Responsibilities (Terms of Reference):
- Project Preparation & Design Appraisal – review of feasibility studies, DPRs, alignment plans, and compliance with IRC/MoRTH standards.
- Construction Supervision & Project Monitoring – field visits, monitoring physical/financial progress, quality and safety reporting.
- Contract & Documentation Support – contract management, correspondence, technical notes, project records/MIS.
- Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance – review of test results, site practices, and compliance with drawings/QAPs.
- Post-Construction & O&M Support – completion documentation, punch-list closure, monitoring during defect liability period.
