PMRDA GIS Analyst Recruitment 2026

PMRDA is recruiting GIS Analysts to support spatial data preparation, digitization, mapping and database management for Structure Plan work.

• Vacancies: 8 posts.
• Tenure: 6 months on contract.
• Remuneration: ₹45,000 per month.
• Maximum age: 40 years, considered as on 1 April 2026.

Eligibility

Minimum bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics or GIS; or bachelor's degree in Geography, Civil Engineering or Planning with diploma/certification in GIS or Remote Sensing.

Mandatory experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in GIS.

Preferred experience: Core GIS digitization, database management, AutoCAD integration, basic remote sensing such as classification and georeferencing, ArcGIS Pro, PostGIS or equivalent, Python/ArcPy, Spatial Analyst or Network Analyst.

Role focus

• Collect, clean, georeference and standardize spatial and non-spatial data.
• Digitize transport, land-use and environmental features from imagery and CAD sources.
• Prepare GIS databases, thematic maps, graphics, metadata and routine spatial analyses.
• Support field verification, data quality control, version management and day-to-day GIS operations.
