PMRDA is inviting applications for a Senior Consultant in Transportation Planning to support the preparation of the Structure Plan for the PMRDA jurisdiction.

Key details

• Vacancies: 1 post.
• Tenure: 6 months on contract.
• Remuneration: ₹11,087 per day.
• Maximum age: 50 years, considered as on 1 April 2026.

Eligibility

Full-time degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or Planning with a post-graduate degree in Transportation Planning, Infrastructure Planning or an equivalent qualification recognized by AICTE/UGC.

Mandatory experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in transportation planning.

Preferred experience: Urban, regional or transportation planning consultancy assignments; government, public sector or infrastructure sector experience; knowledge of National Urban Transport Policy and public transport, NMT or IPT project implementation; transport planning software skills.

Role focus

• Prepare long-term transport vision and integrated movement strategy for people and goods.
• Work on regional and town mobility planning, road hierarchy, public transport networks and transport infrastructure.
• Review transport projects, support stakeholder consultations, identify data gaps and assist the Town Planning Officer.
